I have to admit that I'm one of the freaks that can't bring themselves to open a sealed game! Of course, as others have said, if it's just shrinkwrap or a sticker seal then I don't really count that as 'sealed'; I'm talking about blister packed games. I have quite a few and would love to think I could just rip them open to play, but I know I'll never do it!! ;D

I won't open blister packs, but will usually open a shrink-wrapped game. But not always...
When I first started getting sealed Tec Toy games, I'd rip them open and investigate the goodies inside. These days, I tend to leave them sealed. I occasionally go through and open one for the fun of it, though. :P

See, with Tec Toy I'd be way less inclined to trust the seal. The standards were so all over the place for those guys, it's tough to know what's sealed, what's original packaging, etc. With the prices you have to pay for those games, though, I'd probably be too chickenshit to find out.

I know what you mean about the Tec Toy standard of quality. I have cracked open two Tec Toy games in the past... but one was a Virtua Fighter with the plastic half open anyway and the other was Baku Baku which I already had another sealed copy of. I'm starting to really think that I should have just sold my sealed Shining Force III and bought an open copy... would have been more fiscally responsible. Still don't regret opening it though because now I know what a new Saturn game smells like There's really nothing quite like that new game smell ;D
