Just got back from the car boots, not as much stuff as usual. I think there must be more resellers visiting my local ones now, either that or I've bought all the retro goodies in West Yorkshire already . Anyway I did manage to get a few items, Boxed Game Gear (Columns release with an interesting promo sticker on the front) with a boxed TV Tuner and boxed adapter plus four complete games: Sonic (PAL, nightmare to find boxed for some reason), Lemmings (PAL), Galaga '91 (NTSC-J) and Aerial Assault (NTSC-J), all for £20. Also got 3 complete Saturn games for 50p each: Bust A Move 2 Arcade Edition, World Cup Golf and World Series Baseball II. Grabbed a PSP game too for a fiver (Need For Speed Underground Rivals) and a few DVD's for £1 each, all collector's editions: Resident Evil Extinction, Shrooms and 30 Days Of Night. I'll add a pic later when my camera has charged up EDIT: pic added

I remember when I collected Game Gear stuff that I struggled to find that boxed AC adapter, I think yours is only about the third or fourth one I've seen - well done!

So I take it they didnt include an AC adapter with the system back in the day? Thats almost unthinkable now.. what a swizz.
I'm trying to remember back when I got a Game Boy and Lynx, I dont think the Lynx came with an AC adapter (struggling to remember though - I just remember using a crap selotaped together adapter).

Some GG's came with adapters, The Sonic pack springs to mind, but most didn't. Same with the Game Boy, but I don't remember ever seeing a Lynx with an adapter included. The adapter is actually a universal adapter, just has the Game Gear livery as I guess that's what most people bought it for. It states on the back of the box "Use it to play Master System, Mega Drive and Game Gear or to charge the Battery Pack". It's a 10 volt adapter too, the one that came packaged with the Game Gear in the Sonic set is a 9v adapter. Part No is MK 1602 if anyone is interested .

Yesterday I found a CIB T2 the arcade games for 4 euros in a videogames shop. Usually this shop sell common games between 5 and 10 euros (for example super kick off without instructions is selled 5 euros...)
It was a good surprise !

SMS version I'm guessing? Games that look like MD games are usually mis-priced, by Game shops, The MD version is super common and the covers are almost the same, easy mistake to make fortunately for us

Sexy Game Gear finds, ninja. Man, I've always wanted one of those TV tuners. I never had a Master System as a kid, but I was always rocking out the Game Gear with my battery pack at the hip. I'd always seen the boxed tuner at my local Radio Shack for some crazy unattainable price tag of $80 or so, and I'd always fantasize what it'd be like to actually watch TV on the go with my system.
I never did get it, and I guess time is ticking down until analog television feeds at kiboshed, making the tuner obsolete. Can the Euro ones play in US systems? Or could a Euro tuner and system pickup an NTSC feed if the player was in the States? It's an interesting little device, I've got to smarten up and look for one.

I've only messed around with the Tuner for 5 minutes, and as I'm not sure what frequency TV signals are broadcast on in the US I couldn't say for sure whether a Euro one would work or not. From memory, the Tuner has quite a big range and you can switch between UHF and VHF I think.
