Very nice!!!I'm tempted to go for this myself as it looks in better condition than mine, I'm betting it won't end too cheaply though, there isn't many around

Nice find, I wonder what it will go for. What did you pay for yours? This is now the 4th one I know of. (Mine, Bocks, yours and this). Still yet to see the elusive Lion King version... You just know we are going to have a battle if that appears on ebay!

You just know we are going to have a battle if that appears on ebay! Can't remember what I paid for mine £30-£40 I think. As for the Lion King set, I think it will be a case of who spots it first (if one ever appears) and makes the seller an offer they can't refuse .

Hmm, I might well have a go at this, need a new SMS anyway and it's a great variation to own.

If ninjabearhug isn't going for it, I'll probably stick in a bid. :)

The seller is emailing me some more photos before I decide whether or not to bid.

Just look through some finished auctions, find the cheapest ending ones (below £10), email the seller including the links and tell them you'll offer them a Tenner for it as that's all its worth.
I know it's a bit underhand bit I've had quite a few bargains that way ;D.

I am teh winrar! My first boxed system, too! Well, I've got the boxes of my original two systems, but they've been sitting in the loft -- untouched -- for a bit over seventeen years, so I'm not sure what condition they're in. :)
It's a good thing it ended in the middle of a work day - I'm guessing it'd have gone for more had it ended in the evening or on the weekend.
Thanks for the link.

£25 was a bargain IMO, well done mate, and welcome to the world of console box variation collecting. Once you've seen that slip cover in person you'll be hooked
