I have collected all the plastic box Pro Action Replay cartridges for the Master System (unless any more exsist?). So thats German red and black, and English red and black (thanks to Aypok who sent me his spare english black today). Plus the cardboard box German black. Now I actually don't know how many cardboard box versions exsist.. perhaps 4? Now.. I'm sure i've seen a red English cardboard box version but cannot find a pic.. Also, does anyone collect PAR's for other Sega Consoles, how rare/ uncommon/ common are they?

Did they even come out for the Genesis? I've never seen one, but I'm not a huge collector. There is one for the Saturn, it's actually a magnificent device, since it's a 4 in 1 in that not only can you do cheats, but it acts as a memory card, a 4MB RAM expansion for certain Japanese fighters and a 1MB RAM expansion for a few other specific overseas games. The other unadvertised bonus is that it allows you to play games from any region without any hardware modification. There's also the ability to go out to your computer via SCSI and transfer saves and cheats. It's really the be all, end all Saturn device.
As for rarity, it's fairly easy to find here. Since it's so useful it usually commands around $20 loose. I don't think I've actually seen a fully boxed one, come to think of it.

Yeah, the Game Genie was pretty big here, I still have my Genie for the NES that came with a huge book and a nice velcro soft case. I still can't believe that no cheat device was ever released here for the Master System - judging by the never ending onslaught of US auctions the system certainly did better here than one would think.

I've got a few MD PAR's and Game Genie's, and I also have a Game Gear PAR. I don't have an SMS PAR, and TBH I don't intend on getting one unless I see one cheap (below £1). I'm really against cheating in games so I find it rather hard to get interested in collecting PAR's and such, but, as with everything else, If it says 'Sega' on the box I tend to keep 'em if I find 'em ;D

Few pics, I'll add more as I come across them. Other than these I have a Boxed MD PAR, 2 boxed MD Game Genie's and a boxed Saturn PAR as well as stacks of region convertors although they are mainly unboxed. MD PAR GG PAR MD Universal Adapter (Datel)
